Tectona costs over £100,000 to operate for a year, plus the salaries of shore-based staff. As a result our Recovery Voyages have to be bought back from the Island Trust, to whom we loan the vessel, at up to £6000 per week.

We welcome help in any form. You can give us a hand with maintenance, especially during the winter refit November-February, when any practical skills will be very welcome - especially wielding a paintbrush!

If you have a sailing qualification we welcome you to apply to be a volunteer on board for our voyages - subject of course to usual CRB checks etc.

As a charity, we rely entirely on voluntary contributions to do this important work. If you would like to help us with a one-off or regular donation, however small, that will make a huge difference to us.
